The first weeks - Solan
So since I am the one that thought this was a good idea I will be the first one to post. For me the first few weeks of this new experience has been great. I not only have support here but I have support from my family at home. We always celebrate the little victories which is one of the best things for me. The best thing I can say about this whole process is that it really makes you stop and think about what easy little changes could you make to create a healthier environment for yourself. My goal last week was to work out twice during the week. I was able to reach that goal. So I thought I would just up the number of times I worked out this week. I am ECSTATIC to report that as I write this I have worked out two days in a row and hoping to continue the trend. May need to take a day off to recover at some point but regularity is the name of the game this week.
Well done Beth.. I will say when you first told me that your first goal was to keep your kitchen clean, I was a bit puzzled and was thinking why. Then you told me that if your kitchen was clean it would relieve some stress. I have decided to use this goal for this week. My first goal was to make my bed every day. I can't remember making it as a child so it was not important to me to make the bed every day. I started this January 3rd I can report I have not missed a day. It is nice to go to a bed with a nicely made bed.. I deserve it..
